My Journey Into Cybersecurity: Why I Started Sharing It All

Summary: This post explores my shift from a passive content consumer to an active creator in the cybersecurity space. I explain the motivation behind starting my Instagram and this website—to be the guide I wished I had and to build a community for learning together.

The Shift: From Content Consumer to Creator

For years, I was a passive consumer of information. My days were filled with scrolling through feeds, reading articles, and watching countless shortform videos. The transition from only consuming content to actually creating it has been one of the most rewarding decisions I've made.

Being the Guide I Wish I Had

When I first started into the world of cybersecurity, it felt like navigating a labyrinth in the dark. The field is vast and it can be incredibly intimidating for a newcomer. Throughout that time, I constantly wished there was someone I could follow along with—not a faceless corporation or an expert with decades of experience, but a real person who was just a few steps ahead of me, sharing their progress, their mistakes, and their 'aha!' moments in real-time. My Instagram account was born from that desire.

Why a Website? Going Deeper Than a Social Feed

I created this site for those of you who want to dive deeper. This is the central hub for content that needs more space to breathe. It also has a selfish reason: I can document my learnings, my life and what inspires me here.

Thank you for being here at the very beginning. I'm excited to build this platform and share everything I learn with you. Let's grow together.
